Pastor Framing Development started the way a lot of good builders do: on other people's job sites, framing the structures that everyone else finishes. Foundations and wood framing were the trade, and doing them right, plumb, square, and to the inspector's satisfaction on the first visit, is what earned the next call.
Today PFD is a licensed general contractor (CSLB Lic. #1097742) building accessory dwelling units, custom homes, and commercial projects from our base in Jurupa Valley. The framing crew is still the heart of the company, which means the bones of your building are handled by the people whose name is on the license.
We build in lumber and engineered wood. It's a deliberate choice: lumber is the material we know best, it performs well in California's seismic zones when it's framed correctly, and it's the one we'll put a written warranty behind.
Every project gets a written scope, a real schedule, and one point of contact from the first site walk to the final walkthrough. That's how we'd want it done on our own property, and it's the only way we know how to work.
